Right behind the border between Bavaria and Tyrol, the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena opens its doors. Ehrwald, Lermoos, Berwang, Bichlbach, Biberwier, Heiterwang am See, Lähn-Wengle, and Namlos offer a variety of activities for a summer holiday. New this year: an archery course for aspiring Robin Hoods in Ehrwald. Summit collectors can conquer Daniel, Thaneller, Grubigstein, Tajakopf, and Zugspitze on the "Big Five Tour" in just five days. Those looking to improve their handicap can tee off at the 9-hole course of Tyrolean Zugspitz Golf, which offers golfers a magnificent view of the captivating Wetterstein massif. To ensure that summer vacation is also a special experience for the little ones, there is an exciting holiday program for the whole family in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. Affordable packages and toll-free access via the highways Munich – Garmisch-Partenkirchen or Ulm – Füssen make the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena even more attractive. Summer highlight: the traditional mountain fires for the summer solstice light up the mountains of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena on June 20, 2015, with more than 10,000 fire pits.

Toll-free access to skiing pleasure: 139 kilometers of slopes and 58 mountain lifts are spread across seven diverse ski areas – from glacier skiing on the Zugspitzplatt to the sunny slopes of the Ehrwalder Alm, at the Wetterstein lifts, in Biberwier, Berwang, or Lermoos, everyone from racing carvers to leisure skiers, from little ski pros to beginners, will find their dream area. The ski resort is located right in front of our house.
